Personal Science Week explores topics ranging from genomics and microbiome testing and continuous glucose monitoring to AI and longevity research. Richard also writes an "Unpopular Science" series that examines controversial health-related science topics.
As a former executive at Microsoft, Apple, and numerous startups, he has managed software product teams in both the US (Silicon Valley) and Asia (Tokyo, Beijing), always focused on the end consumer experience, to make technology easy and accessible to normal people everywhere.
He completed his undergraduate degree at Stanford University and graduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania.
