The formats of biohacking conference sessions range from traditional lectures and round tables to interactive workshops, panel discussions, as well as online, hybrid, and in-person meetings, with the goals of exchanging information, generating ideas, or solving specific problems, ranging from large congresses to small thematic meetings, with formats for presentations and discussions. Our biohacking experts will tell you which format is right for you and which ones are the most popular!

Highlights

  • Biohacking conferences combine sessions, panels, Q&A, expos, workshops and VIP activities.
  • Sessions combine education, expert insights and practical knowledge in one agenda.
  • Q&A sessions are interactive segments where attendees ask questions and receive expert answers.
  • Panel discussions bring multiple expert perspectives into one focused conversation.
  • Workshops and expo zones provide hands-on experiences, products, and real-world tools.

Sessions

A conference is usually a large educational event with a packed program: speeches, seminars, roundtables, and panel discussions. The duration varies from one to several days. The event is divided into several sessions for the convenience of participants and organizers.

Keynote Session

At the heart of the program usually lies the keynote session — a flagship element of the general conference agenda. For example, this year, the Biohacking World Conference and Expo featured at least two keynote sessions by distinguished leaders in wellness and longevity:

  • Philipp Samor von Holtzendorff-Fehling, Founder & CEO of Leela Quantum Tech. Leela Quantum Tech is at the forefront of integrating quantum-energy technologies and wellness tools to support holistic health, energy optimization, and “frequency medicine.”
  • Clayton Thomas — Founder & CEO of The Root Brands. The Root Brands specializes in natural, holistic supplementation and wellness solutions aimed at unlocking human potential — body, mind, and spirit.

These keynote lectures set the tone for the entire conference. They typically run for longer durations than standard sessions (depending on the agenda), offering attendees a high-impact, thought-provoking dive into cutting-edge biohacking ideas. Through these keynotes, participants get a strategic overview of emerging wellness paradigms — from quantum energy and holistic healing to biohacking lifestyle design and performance optimization.

Platinum/Gold Session

A VIP session, or Platinum/Gold Session, is mainly held for important investors, partners, key clients, brand ambassadors, and those who have purchased VIP access to the event. The main goal for organizers is to maintain the loyalty of key partners and clients, while for participants, it is to gain access to places others do not (exclusive meetings, offers, discounts, networking opportunities) and to gather as much information as possible.

Regular sessions

Regular sessions — simply labeled “session” — make up the bare majority of the event’s agenda. They vary in duration, typically ranging within a predefined time slot (e.g., 30–60 minutes, depending on the speaker and content), and cover a broad spectrum of themes: from nutrition, longevity, biotech, supplement science, to energy work, mind-body practices, and self-optimization strategies.

These sessions are led by a variety of experts, practitioners, and thought-leaders — giving the audience access not just to visionary lectures, but also practical, actionable knowledge and tools.

Because regular sessions make up the bulk of the conference schedule, they offer attendees the flexibility to build a personalized experience by combining scientific talks, holistic wellness practices, and networking to match their interests and level of expertise.

Q&A

A Q&A session (questions and answers) is an interactive communication format that allows the audience to ask questions and receive answers from experts or hosts. Such sessions can be held both offline and online, and are popular at biohacking events, webinars, and conferences. They offer the speaker an opportunity to communicate with the audience, provide detailed answers to questions, and delve deeper into specific topics.

Conference Q&A sessions have many advantages that set them apart from other forms of communication. First, they create an opportunity for active audience engagement: people can interact directly with experts, which fosters a sense of trust. Second, the sessions allow for clarification of unclear topics by answering specific questions. They also serve as a platform for participants to exchange opinions and ideas. In addition, such events help to strengthen the image of specialists by showing their willingness to share knowledge.

Panel Discussion

A panel discussion is another event format in which a group of experts shares their knowledge and experience with the audience. It helps participants solve work problems, overcome obstacles, correct mistakes, delve deeper into the topic being studied, and establish valuable connections. A panel discussion usually includes 3-5 experts in their field, a moderator, and an audience. The number of participants may vary depending on the topic, the discussion goals, and the audience size.

The session block is structured around a specific scenario, including discussion and a question-and-answer session. The goal is to provide an in-depth understanding of the topic under consideration. As a rule, the discussion lasts from 60 to 90 minutes, with time allocated for the introductory part, presentations, questions, and active audience participation.

Wellness Workshop

A wellness workshop is a practical class or series of events aimed at comprehensively improving quality of life through a balance of physical and mental health: proper nutrition, physical activity, stress management, mindfulness, relaxation, and healthy habits, often using coaching and modern technologies to achieve harmony and well-being. These workshops aim to promote physical and mental health, reduce stress, improve team cohesion, and increase biohackers’ motivation.

This is a popular topic at biohacking conferences, as it gives participants an exclusive opportunity not only to talk to experts but also to experience their methods and practices and to participate in offline programs. For example, at our last conference in Miami (November 1–2, 2025), a morning “somatic mantra” session was led by Julietta (singer, songwriter, and organizer of somatic-mantra experiences). That session offered a deeply grounding, community-oriented start to the day — and became one of the most appreciated experiences among attendees.

Such a legacy underlines how this conference isn’t just about talks and lectures, but about lived experience, self-exploration, and transformation.

Julietta is a singer-songwriter and facilitator of somatic mantra experiences whose work lives at the intersection of music, meditation, and transformation. As a recording artist, she has reached global audiences, weaving vulnerable storytelling with evocative soundscapes.

As a guide, she creates immersive spaces where voice, breath, and mantra become tools for grounding. Drawing from her background in Vedic meditation, yoga, and mantra chanting, Julietta leads participants into practices that lower the nervous system, release emotional tension, and awaken presence. Her sessions are designed not only as musical offerings but as embodied journeys, blending live harmonium, Sanskrit mantras, and guided somatic awareness.

Expo

Expo pavilions at conferences are temporary, custom-built structures used by organizations, companies, or countries to showcase products, services, innovations, and cultural identity. They are a key part of large international exhibitions and conferences, designed to create a unique, engaging, and memorable experience for visitors. These pavilions can range from individual company booths to large, elaborate national buildings that are later dismantled or repurposed after the event ends.

Additional Activity

Beyond the main agenda, the conference features several additional activities designed to elevate the attendee experience, support networking, and create memorable moments throughout the event.

Giveaways

Giveaways are a fun and highly anticipated part of the conference schedule. Attendees can expect smaller partner giveaways taking place during partner sessions, where brands share products, supplements, devices, or access to wellness tools.

At the end of the conference, there may be the Grand Giveaway — a final, high-energy moment where larger prizes are raffled among participants. This may become one of the signature traditions of our events, bringing the community together in a celebratory closing highlight.

Luncheon

We provide two lunch formats to suit the needs and goals of our attendees:

  • General Lunch Break: a standard lunch period available to all participants. This is a relaxed time to recharge, explore food options, and naturally meet other visitors, exchange experiences, and make new connections.
  • VIP Luncheon: an exclusive networking lunch for VIP attendees. This event offers an intimate environment for personal conversations with speakers, brand founders, industry innovators, and leaders in the biohacking community. It’s a unique opportunity to build meaningful relationships and gain insights directly from the experts shaping the global wellness landscape.

Movie Premiere

As part of the cultural and educational program, the conference may feature exclusive movie premieres related to biohacking, wellness innovation, or the personal work of one of our speakers. These premieres offer a deeper, more narrative-driven look at human optimization, visionary ideas, and the future of health.

Whether it’s a documentary on longevity, a film exploring breakthroughs in wellness science, or a creative project by a speaker, these screenings add a cinematic dimension to the conference experience — inspiring reflection and discussion long after the premiere ends.

To Sum Up

There are different conference session formats and a variety of activities, so you can choose only the most important meetings or try to cover all the sessions and opt for VIP access. It is up to you, your budget, and your desire. We recommend studying the agenda before the event and choosing the most relevant sessions for you! See you at the Biohacking Conference and Expo!
